Staying or going?

When Josh took the job here in Utah we were told it would be for the long run. Like 10-15+ years. We'd settle down and buy a house here, we'd raise our children here. Well things might be changing. The company that his company works for is changing their structure and they may or may not choose his company to take over his division. Right now the work is done by a few different companies, like Josh's, and they are going to one source. Which means that they will select one company for each division. If his company gets this division they will hopefully give him a promotion and this division. They potentially could bring in someone above him and that would suck. He works and deserves to move up. The work load would majorly multiply. But if his company doesn't get this division we will be moving. He asked me last night if I would be open to moving, he thinks potentially Colorado, Arizona or Texas if they don't get this division. Of course I'll go wherever we need to go. He should find out sometime at the end if May beginning of June. I wouldn't mind moving to another state and I wouldn't mind staying here. Moving wise it would be much easier to stay here. If we stay here we will be selling our house and buying a new house that better fits the needs of our growing family and my moms needs with her living with us. Her and already look at houses here and can't wait to be able to start looking for real! And to know where we are going to be. Moving out of state would be hard, just the whole aspect of selling our house and moving to a new state, because josh will probably have to be their pretty quickly and we'd still have to sell our house. Thankfully I have my mom!

There's always a chance he could get an offer to go back to CA and I would love that. It would have to be quite an offer with a large pay increase for us to be able to afford to live in CA so I really don't see that happening. I really miss my friends and family and it's really hard raising J away from them. It makes me sad that his birthdays and Christmas's won't be celebrated there with everyone.

It's hard not knowing where we will be in a few months, but it's also exciting. Change is scary, but good!

I'm hoping and praying for the best! Hoping good changes will be happening for a little family!

Bikini body mommy 90 day challenge!

I heard about this challenge online and started it last week. I did day 1 which was a fit test where you just do each exercise for 50 seconds to see how many you can do to compare to at the end. It killed me. My legs were SO sore. So I waited until today (Monday) to start day 2. I stretched today so hopefully that will help with soreness. Anyways here's a pic of me and little J after my workout:

I figure taking a pic on day 1 will help me see the changes, even though it's not a whole body pic. I'm hoping to be proud of a new pic like this at the end instead of embarrassed like I am of this one!

The little gym

Today we went and did a free trial class at The Little Gym here in utah! Wow. It's been like 8 years since I worked at The Little Gym in CA and it was so different being on the other side, there as a parent with my baby! Jackson LOVED the class! He had such a great time! Smiling and laughing the whole time! Except when the teacher did forward rolls with him. He cried. I think it was doing something new and different and seeing her face after he flipped over that upset jinx I gave him a snuggle and he was happy again! There where 3 other babies and mommies in the class and he loved watching the other babies. We are going to sign up next week for the rest of this semester, it's through June 7, so about 15 classes. I think it'll be really good for him! And for me to get to talk to other moms with babies his age!

And after class he was so tired he passed out within 5 minutes of being in the car:

Bowling!

My mom is subbing on a bowling league. They bowl Friday mornings at 9:30 am and they are mainly older women. Me and J went with her last week and again today. Jackson loves action so of course he loves the bowling alley! And the attention from old(er) ladies! Last week he was so tired but didn't fall asleep there, today he fell asleep on me!

He's also kinda giving the finger in this pic. He slept on me for a good 30 minutes. He also got to have a French fry. We've let him try little bites, I usually mush up the softest part and give him little tastes but today I let him actually hold it:

He loved them! And for dinner tonight I made sweet potato fries (cut up a sweet potato into fries, put a little olive oil and seasoning on and bake them) and he wanted my food so I let him taste and the kid went bat shit crazy for them! So funny. Now everytime I eat I have to make sure there is something he can eat on my plate because god forbid I don't let him have some of my food, or drink. He wants everything. If he seems me take a drink out of a cup, water bottle, beer can he wants it. Reaches out his hands and tries to grab it. Same with food. He starts smacking his lips like yummy! Feed me!

Day 2

Today I did well. I had egg whites for breakfast. Did the challenge before I went to the gym, did the elliptical for 60 minutes at the gym. When I got home I was so hungry, I had a fiber one brownie thing, then a few salt and vinegar chips (healthier ones at least, from whole foods). For lunch I had chicken tortilla soup. In the afternoon I was craving sweets so bad and ate these hard watermelon candies that we had. Not great, but not horrible. For dinner we had a roast with potatoes and carrots in it. I had a small piece of asiago cheese bread with it. And I had a glass of 1/2 wine 1/2 sprite. I'm craving ice cream or chocolate or candy so bad, but trying to distract myself. There's really nothing good (well bad really), but I'm avoiding the kitchen so I don't find something I don't need to snack on. I know that I just need to get through a few days-week and the cravings will lessen and go away so I'm trying to stay focused. I just focus on the number I want to see on the scale on Friday and that helps!

Teething

We're pretty sure J is teething. No sign of teeth yet, but fussy and seems like he might be in some pain. Fussy nursing and I've heard that's common when teething. And chewing on everything! We'll see!
