I say "craving" because when I think pregnancy cravings I imagine a pregnant woman being like "I have to have that right now!" And will go out of her way, or make her husband go get it, and I have not had any cravings like that. Not to that extreme. It's more like something just sounds so good and its all I want to eat, nothing else sounds good at that moment, and sometimes I'll keep thinking about it until I get to eat it.
Anyways, my craving has been for a cheese quesadilla, that I make at home just shredded cheese on a tortilla, topped with another tortilla and heated up to melt the cheese. Not too odd, something I'll occasionally eat when I'm not pregnant if we have that stuff on hand. It's a quick easy meal. Well I've been dipping it in sour cream and cholula hot sauce. I put sour cream and cholula on tacos and stuff, but I'd never done it with a quesadilla before and it is so good! I'm obsessed with this meal lately!

9 months
I can't believe I'm 9 months pregnant. Most of the time I don't feel like I am! I've been SO lucky/blessed during my pregnancy and that I've had such an easy/uncomplicated 9 months. While I have my moments where I feel huge, I also have many moments that I feel like I don't even look that pregnant. I often look in the mirror an feel like I just look fat and not pregnant, I think that's mainly because my belly button is still an innie and I just don't feel like my belly looks like the belly of someone 9 months preggo. My husband thinks I'm delusional about that and says I look very pregnant! But I still think my bump is smaller then it could be, and I'm glad for that most of the time, I think it would be a lot harder work wise if my belly was bigger! I also don't "feel" pregnant all the time. Of course being on my feet all day at work isn't one of those times! By the end of the work day I usually feel very pregnant. And getting out of bed to pee at night I feel very pregnant! But occasionally I think to myself "I don't even feel pregnant right now". I think that the fact that I was pretty comfortable for the first 2 trimesters and have only been getting super uncomfortable occasionally during the past few weeks has me thinking "how is it possible I'm 9 months pregnant?!" While I have my moments where I feel SO pregnant and uncomfortable, its not that often and its only really been happening recently. I feel like most women at this point in their pregnancy feel done. They haven't been sleeping well for months, they've been uncomfortable and in pain for months and they are just ready to be done. I don't really feel that way. I have my moments and days where I wonder how I'm going to make it through however many weeks are left of work (this week it's 3+), but overall I'm feeling pretty good. I'm still sleeping pretty well and able to still sleep the way I'm used to sleeping, aside from the occasion bad night.
Sometimes I think I'm just so ready to meet my son that I'm ready to be done! I'm ready to go into labor and meet my baby boy!
And other times I think there's no way I'm about to have a baby, there's no way it's already been 9 months!
I really want my mom to be here when I go into labor. And she's planning on making her flight reservation for around August 29 because that's when it's cheapest. If I go into labor sooner she'll either change her flight or says she'll even drive here if she has to (about a 10 hour drive). So I want him to stay put until she gets here, but at the same time I think "there's no way I'm going to make it to August 29!" I don't know why I feel that way. I very easily could have him closer to my due date or even on or after my due date. I have August 24th stuck in my head, but I'm not putting much into that!
I guess only time will tell and he'll come when he comes.
But just in case I plan on getting as much done as I can this weekend! Cleaning house, pedicure, getting the swing out of the garage and cleaning it up and getting it set up, washing my moms bedding and towels for her room, getting any last minute things we need and getting my bag ready to go when the time comes! I'm making a don't forget list to put somewhere we'll see it so we don't forget the last minute things!
I can't wait to meet my baby boy soon!

Utah baby shower
On Sunday some friends from work threw me a baby shower! It was super cute and small. I knew it would be small. I knew that not a lot of people would come. They did it on a Sunday because that's the only day that our work is closed so they figured more people would make it. But a lot of my co workers (including 2 that threw the shower) are Mormon and didn't want to miss church. Awhile back they did a shower for my friend Natalie at work, on a Saturday, and only myself and 2 other people from work went. There were about 8 people at mine, so pretty good! I'm just glad people came! It was so nice to just sit and eat and chat with other women. I don't get that enough here in utah. I don't really have friends outside of work, and I really want to work harder at making my relationships with my friends at work more outside of work friendships! My friend Denise and I are going to get pedicures this Saturday! And I'm sure once Jackson is here I will hang out with Natalie and her almost 5 month old daughter!
Here are a few pics of the super cute decor:

I took these before anyone really got there. It was kind if a nautical/fish theme and so adorable!
I got some cute outfits, a few toys, a target gift card and some diapers!
It was fun and I'm so thankful to have awesome friends here that threw it for me!

Less then a month! And turning 30
I can officially say that my due date is less then a month away! Crazy! Today is my 30th birthday and I'll be having my baby in less then a month (unless he decides to wait until after his due date to make his appearance!). I feel like he will come early though. I could be totally wrong, but its just a feeling I have. My mom won't be coming until the 29th though, so hopefully he stays put until then, although for some weird reason August 24th is sticking out in y mind. I'm sure if I go into labor before the 29th my mom will change her flight and get here ASAP! I know she doesn't want to miss the birth of her grandson! And I don't want her to miss it! I need her! She's not just my mom, but my best friend too and I know I will want and need her support in the delivery room!
I'm not quite sure how I feel about turning 30. Growing up I thought 30 was so old! I thought 29 was the last year to be young and once you turned 30 you were old and boring. I don't feel old though. And as I watched my older sisters turn 30 (they are 10 and 13 years older then me) I realized that 30 really isn't old, but the thoughts from my childhood have stuck with me I guess. I'm kind of bummed that I can't go eat sushi and drink wine for my birthday though! But I'm happy to be pregnant, and so close to meeting my baby boy! I think my 30's are going to be great! My early 20's were all about me and having fun, my late 20's were all about me and my husband and our life together, and my 30's are going to be all about our family! OUR family! I feel like I've waited so long to make our little family of just me and hubby into a family with kids! Hopefully my 30's will bring another baby (or 2!) and a lot of fun!

35 weeks
How far along? 35 weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: this morning the scale was up 2 pounds from a week ago...but I don't think it's very accurate...I haven't pooped in days
Maternity clothes? Yes
Sleep: some nights are good. I've taken unisom a few times to ensure a goods night sleep. One night I didn't and it was horrible, I pretty much just tossed and turned all night thinking about everything I want and need to do before Jackson gets here and the possibility of running out of time, or him coming early before I get it all done. But I made a list and there are only a few things that really need to get done before he gets here, everything else can wait if I don't get to it, so that made me feel better
Best moment this week: yesterday- being 35 weeks preggo and having 35 weeks left!
Movement: yes. He tried out the left side a few times but seems to have gone back to preferring being on my right side. Last night laying in bed you could tell! My belly was lopsided!
Food cravings: nothing really lately...except I discovered these twix ice creams and OMG...I could eat a whole box of them in one sitting if I let myself! Which is weird because sweets, especially ice cream haven't really been that good since I've been preggo
Gender: boy
Labor Signs: nope. Still have Braxton hicks contractions but they are just uncomfortable sometimes
Belly Button in or out? In still
What I miss: not getting up to pee a million times a night! And my 30 bday is this week and I'm more upset about not being able to have sushi and wine then I am about turning 30!
What I am looking forward to: finishing up my must do list, my mom coming in a few weeks and most of all meeting my little man soon! Although I'm going to miss having him inside me and feeling his move
Milestones: being 35 weeks preggo!

It's August!!!
Holy crap!!! It's August 1!!!! I'll be 37 weeks/full term in just 18 days!!! My due date is in 38 days!!! If Jackson is born just 9 days (or more) before his due date he will be born this month!!! I think there is a strong possibility of him being born this month! And its a great month to be born! August is a big month in my family! Myself (9th), my brother (13th), two of my cousins (6th and 31st) and my cousins wife (cant remember the date right now) all have birthdays this month!
Either way I'll be having a baby either this month or next month and that is crazy!!!! I better get my butt moving to finish everything on my to-do list before I have him! My goal is to finish by 37 weeks! Anything I get done after that is a bonus, but I want the necessities done before 37 weeks to make sure it gets done!

34 week appointment and random ramblings
I had my 34 week appointment yesterday and it was the same as usual. Weight, pee in a cup, blood pressure, doctor comes in feels the baby, we listen to the heartbeat, talk a little, ask any questions. It was quick and easy. We didn't really have any questions. He said Jackson is measuring about 5 pounds now, he's still head down and should stay that way. He said that after 35 weeks if I go into labor they will not do anything to stop labor, so that's Sunday! I don't think it'll happen for a few more weeks but crazy to think it could happen soon! My next appointment is in 2 weeks, that's when I'll start going weekly, and my dr will start checking my cervix! I can't wait to know what's going on down there! He said he'll be able to give us a better idea of when I might go into labor, if it could be sooner then my due date.
After the appointment we had planned on going over to the hospital to see if we could do a tour (the building my dr is in is right next to the hospital). So we went over there and it was so crazy walking into labor and delivery. It made it feel more real! We went into a little office first and pre registered and then went to see if we could take a tour. Well they didn't have any birthing/deliver rooms available for us to see, they were either all in use or waiting to be cleaned. They had 11 mammas in labor! Crazy! So we said we'd just come back after my next appointment! I have a feeling I'll be having a major "holy shit" moment when we go on the tour! It makes it feel so real! And like its going to happen so soon. Which I guess it is. I'll be full term in 2 1/2 weeks...my due date is in 5 1/2 weeks...OMG...I'm going to have a baby soon!!! After waiting so long for this it just doesn't feel possible that he'll be here so soon!
There are still a few things I want to get done before I have him. I'm planning on having these things done before I get to 37 weeks. I want to get my car cleaned inside and out and we're planning on doing that this weekend. Then we need to install the car seat base, we also want to get a second base for Josh's car, we have to decide whose car well put the carseat in. I'm guessing my husband will drive me to the hospital in his car so I'm thinking it'll be best to put the car seat base we have in his car until we get a second base. I'll probably just leave the carseat in the house with the hospital bags until I go into labor, that way we'll be sure to grab it when we leave for the hospital. I also need to get a few more things for my hospital bag and finish packing my bag and the baby bag. I want to put a little basket together for the nurses at the hospital (or possible 2 baskets-one for the labor and delivery nurses and one for the postpartum ones) just with little snacks and candy. I can't imagine being a L&D nurse, I'm sure its a rewarding job helping babies be born, but I know most women aren't at their best during that time! I'm sure those nurses put up with a lot and I really feel they deserve a little thank you for all their hard work! So I need to start stocking up on stuff for that and putting those together! I also want to make some freezer meals so we can have easy meals for the first few weeks.
At this point my mom is planning on coming here from CA on August 25 and staying until September 19, then she'll go back for my brothers wedding (sept 28) and after that she'll be here permanently! She's moving here! A lot is still up in the air as to when she'll actually be moving here, but its good to have a plan of when she'll be here! If I do happen to go into labor earlier I know she'll just change her flight and be able to be here! She's waiting to find out if my brother and his fiancé get a house that they put in an offer for, they've been waiting to hear for so long, its a short sale so that's why it's taken so long, they should hear within the next 10 days. If they don't get the house then they are going to buy my moms condo, if they get the house my mom will list her condo to sell it. If she does end up listing it it will probably sell REALLY quickly so either way she will be moving here really soon! I can't wait to have my mom here!
I also want to re do our little calendar wall we have by our kitchen. Right now we just have a whiteboard calendar with space to write notes next to it. I want to put a bulletin board there instead with a real calendar and 2 slot folder things below it for our mail (I'll add a third when my mom moves in).i already have everything so it should be an easy project for this weekend.
I also want to get the house clean before I have Jackson.
Somedays I feel like i still have so much to do and other days I feel like I'm pretty much ready for Jackson to be here!

32 week appointment
I had my 32 week appointment yesterday and it went great, as usual. The appointment are always the same and I only have one more like this! At 36 weeks I will start going weekly and my dr will start doing internal checks and we'll start talking more about labor and deliver! Craziness! So he nurse did weight, had me pee in a cup, and she took my blood pressure. I love that I always have the same nurse! She's really nice! Then the dr comes in, asks how everything is, says my weight, blood pressure and urine is good. Always tells me I'm very low risk and that I'm doing great! Then he feels the belly and we listen to the heartbeat. He says Jackson is about 4 pounds now! Holy cow! There's a 4 pound baby inside me! I know the doctors guess is just that, a guess, but wow. 4 pounds. I have a friend whose baby was 3 weeks early and weighed 4 pounds! We talked to the dr for a little bit. We told him that we found out I can deliver at the hospital right next to his office vs the one a few miles away, he seemed happy about that. Then we talked about going on a hospital tour. I did ask him about taking a birth class, if he recommends it and he tried to put it as nicely as he could (probably in case I really wanted to take one) that he doesn't really think its necessary. I told him I just want the baby out as painlessly as possible and I'm all for pain meds so he said he feels it really isn't necessary. I liked that since I don't feel it's necessary either! I mentioned that my insurance covers a breast pump and he said to try to remind him after I have the baby (um...might not happen, hopefully my mom or josh will remember, I think I'll have other things on my mind!) and he'll make sure to give me the prescription for it along with the prescriptions for pain meds and a stool softener...so glad he mentioned that because I've read horror stories about the first poo after having a baby! I also asked about taking a breastfeeding class which he also didn't really recommend. BUT he did say that its best to get help and learn once you have the baby and that the nurses and lactation consultants at the hospital are really great and will give me lots of help learning to breast feed. I was glad josh was there because he also said that breast feeding isn't usually as easy as it looks and that it is hard work at first. I think men just assume you put the baby to the boob and that's it, and for some it might be that simple, but not always and they don't think about holds, latch, and everything else that goes along with breast feeding!
So after our next appointment in 2 weeks we are going to see if we can go tour the hospital and pre register! I'm pretty excited about that. I'm hoping they will tell us what they provide there for us so I can finalize my list for the baby bag and my bag!

Breast pumps, birth plans, randomness
Yesterday I called my insurance company because my doctor had mentioned at my last appointment that depending on my insurance I might have to deliver at a different hospital. He delivers at 2 hospitals and I was planning on delivering at the one closest to home, his office is also in a building at the hospital. The other hospital is only about 5 miles farther away so its not really a big deal. I also wanted to ask my insurance if they cover a breast pump. Obamacare made all insurance providers cover breast pumps but reading the message boards on the bump and what to expect apps I was hearing that a lot of insurance companies had found ways to get around that and since my insurance isn't great I figured they wouldn't cover one.
So I called and the lady I talked to answered my first question pretty easily after putting me on hold for a few minutes, the hospital closest to home is in network so I can deliver there. Then I asked her if a breast pump is covered, it took her a few minutes to look that up and she said that yes it is and then I asked how I go about getting one...and she put me on hold to look up more info about it...I was on hold for over an hour! I was so pissed off. Then my call get put back into the queue of calls an answered by someone else who was able to answer the question within a few minutes without even putting me on hold! I was so mad. But what can I do? She told me that I can get a breast pump at the hospital after I deliver (I'm going to ask the hospital about this when I do a hospital tour) and she gave me 3 websites I can go through to get one. They are medical supply websites and I found one that seems the easiest to go through if the hospital way doesn't work out. The insurance won't cover it until after the baby is born but as soon as the baby is born I can call them and give them my info and order it and they verify it with my insurance and doctor and then send it to me. I won't beed it the first few weeks so i don't mind if I have to wait a few weeks to get it in the mail. The ones on their website are the ameda double electric, Medela double electric and a playtex double electric. I want the Medela of course. I'm so happy about this! It saves is about $200! So since I already bought the ameda purely yours double electric at babies r us I am going to return it tomorrow (90 day return policy). I used $100 gift card from my sister towards it so I'm just going to get the whole amount in a gift card and hold onto it until we get one through my insurance, just in case something doesn't work out right or we have to wait to long or something to get it that way, then we already have the money set aside to just go buy it. I don't see that happening, but my husband wants to do that just in case. And then once we get it through insurance we'll have that gift card to get stuff we need for the baby!
Everyone always talks about their birth plan. Here's mine: get the baby out as painlessly as possible. While I'd love to be one of those woman that has their baby all natural with no drugs and its all peaceful and beautiful, that's just not gonna happen for me. I don't like pain and I want to enjoy my babies birth as much as I can so bring on the drugs. I plan on getting an epidural. I'm also not against pitocin (spelling) if its needed. But there is one thing I feel very strongly about and that is that once the baby is delivered I want him places directly on my chest and I want him to be able to stay there as long as he can. I want to do skin to skin right away in hopes of starting off on the right foot as far as breast feeding goes. I really want to breastfeed and I want to do whatever I can to establish that and be successful at it from the very start. I have read that a newborn is most alert and awake during the first hour or two after birth so its a really important time to establish breast feeding. I also want him to stay in the room with me and not go to the nursery. I know some people send the baby to the nursery so they can get some sleep before they take the baby home. But to me I want me baby right there. I've waited so long to meet this little guy I want to get to know him. It's also important for breast feeding for him to be right there. There are cues of hunger before the baby starts crying and its best to breastfeed at those beginning cues then to wait until the baby is crying. I just know that a lot of people in my family have struggled with breast feeding so I want to do everything I possibly can to make breastfeeding work!

Baby clothes!
I started washing baby stuff today!
I sorted all the clothes into 3 piles, whites, colors and darks, I ended up throwing some white bedding in with the whites because that pile was so light. I only did newborn, 0-3, 3 months, and 3-6. I didn't wash anything 6 months or larger yet. Here's my piles:

This little boy has A LOT of clothing! I need to make sure anything I buy from now on is 6 months or bigger (I don't have nearly as much in sizes 6 months and bigger). And somehow I managed to lose 1 sock and 1 mitten (the little ones to keep them from scratching their face).
I planned in washing the bedding, blankets, towels and washcloths too but I didn't get that far. Here's the blankets and bedding:

Plus 2 white crib sheets and a mattress pad that I already washed with the whites! We're set for blankets and bedding too! And there's another pile of baby towels and wash cloths, so many wash cloths that I ended up not even opening 2 packages that each have 12 wash cloths. I'll hold onto them to see if I need them but I don't think I will, and if I don't I'll "sell" them at the consignment store I like to shop at. I plan on keeping my favorite outfits for if we have another boy down the line, but I will probably "sell" some of the clothes (especially the ones I bought there or we're given to me used) to go towards buying bigger clothes there as we need them!
I know 31 weeks might seem a little early to wash everything, but I couldn't wait! I want to start get in the hospital bags packed and getting things organized and ready. Everyone I know who has had a baby recently has had them early, anywhere from 10 days to 3 weeks early! All first babies too. My co worker had her little girl about 2 weeks early with no warning. No sign she'd go into labor anytime soon until her water broke early one morning! Same with the friend who had hers 3 weeks early. My cousins wife was on bedrest for about 2 months before she had their son 10 days early. I'm terrified that I'll go into labor early and won't have everything done! If rather be washing the clothes again at 39 weeks, then going into labor early and not having anything washed! I think that my job might cause me to have him before my due date. I'm on my feet all day at work, not just standing, I'm pretty active, its retail, so cleaning up, putting stuff away, putting up shelves, putting out product. Some days I come home exhausted and sore from everything, but I'm careful not to so anything I shouldn't be doing, like lifting things that are heavy. But at the same time I think I might be siting here on my due date doing everything I can to get this boy out! Only time will tell. I kinda can't wait until 36 weeks when I'll start going to my every week and having cervical checks. My dr says once he does the check at 36 weeks he'll be able to give us a much better idea of if Jackson may come early or if things are still "locked up tight". I know a lot of people don't like the checks because you can be dilated for weeks before you go into labor, but I want to know! 37 weeks is full term, so he's welcome to come anytime after that! I just can't wait to meet my baby boy!

Heartburn
I thought I had gotten really lucky and avoided heartburn...I was wrong. I guess I figured it started in early pregnancy and could continue though out, but I was not expecting it to start in my third trimester! It started a few days ago and its pretty horrible. I guess I shouldn't complain, since its just staring now, and since I've been really lucky so far with being pregnant-no morning sickness and not really any major symptoms, pretty easy pregnancy so far. But wow. It just hit me like a ton of bricks. One day nothing and then the next I ate (or drank) anything and bam, heartburn. I bought tums today and those seem to help. I've heard that heartburn means my baby will be born with a full head of hair- I guess we'll just have to wait about 11 more weeks and we'll see if that's true!

24 weeks!
How far along? 24 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I haven't weighed myself this week, but last time I did I was still -18 from my pre-pregnancy weight
Maternity clothes? Some. Still not really necessary. I'm still wearing my normal work pants
Sleep: pretty good usually. If I lay more on my belly then my side he kicks me like crazy! Maybe he doesn't like being squished!
Best moment this week: being 24 weeks pregnant!
Movement: yes! And getting stronger. Last night I was laying on the couch trying to hear the heartbeat on an app on my phone (I'm pretty sure I found it once, but couldn't find it again) and for the first time I saw my belly move when he kicked! This morning when he was kicking and I was laying in bed I watched and could see my belly moved where he kicked! So neat! Josh hasn't felt him yet, but hopefully soon. His movements are so random there hasn't really been a time yet when I was with josh and sure he's feel him if he tried
Food cravings: not really
Gender: boy
Labor Signs: no
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: sushi
What I am looking forward to: josh feeling him move
Milestones: being 24 weeks pregnant!

Is it summer already?
Today at worked we were saying that that spring got skipped and we just jumped straight into summer. It was in the 60's before I went to CA (it reached the low 70's a few times, but had snowed the that week!) and I come back to temps in the 90's! It's freakin hot! Couldn't we have had some time in the 70's-80's temp before jumping up to the 90's! Well then I was driving home and realized that it practically is summer. I'm not sure exactly when summer officially starts, but its pretty close, which is SCARY! Because HELLI?!?! I'm going to be having a baby at the end if the summer! And you know how fast summers fly by...I kinda had a slight freak out moment in the car. I mean I know I'm pregnant. I know I'll be having my baby boy at the beginning of September. There's a bedroom across the hall from ours with a crib, glider, changing table and closet full of tiny clothes and baby gear. We have a stroller and carseat, bottles, breast pump, pacifiers, diaper bag, diapers. But there's still SO much I hope to get done before Jackson arrives. And while I know I have plenty of time, its already gone by so fast I know the next few weeks and months are going to fly by. I'm so ready to be a mom and met my son, but at the same time I want to cherish every moment I have being pregnant with him. I want to feel and appreciate every kick and flutter. I waited and wished for this for so long and I love having this amazing miracle growing inside of me. Wow that sounded so cheesy, we'll blame it on the pregnancy hormones...and on that note I have to say I have been feeling much more emotional lately! Like teary eyed at the stupidest things!

22 weeks!
How far along? 22 weeks and 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: not sure. I haven't weighed myself because I'm in CA!
Maternity clothes? Still pretty much the same. I feel like my tummy has gotten bigger, but I still don't really need maternity clothes
Sleep: good
Best moment this week: having an amazing baby shower given to me by my best friend, her mom and my mom! I was shocked at how generous everyone was and I feel so loved! I got SO much stuff for Jackson! I'm pretty sure he got more clothing then he'll even be able to wear! A friend who had a 7 week old baby boy gave us a HUGE bag of clothes. It's all newborn and 0-3 month. So Jax is set for the first few weeks/months! It's also been great being home and spending time with my friends and family!
Movement: yep :) it's so amazing to feel him moving all over the place! And it's getting stronger, I don't think it'll be too long before his kicks will be able to be felt from the outside!
Food cravings: not really...I've been enjoying all my favorite local food that we don't have in utah
Gender: baby boy
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: I've occasionally missed drinking this week...being at an amazing wedding and not being able to enjoy the beer truck and drinks, and not being able to sit down and enjoy a glass (or 2 or 3) with my best friend or my mom to talk and gossip. But this little boy is so completely worth it! Oh and sushi :( there are some super yummy sushi places here and I wish I could enjoy!
What I am looking forward to: josh being able to feel Jackson move!
Milestones: being 22 weeks!

21 week appointment
I had my OB appointment today, I was supposed to go next week but since we'll be in CA I went a week early. I was given the option to go a week early or a week later and I chose early. I figured I'd want reassurance that everything's fine before I went home to CA for a week. I know its not going that far away and we're driving not flying, but I wanted reassurance (to hear his heart beat) before I left.
The nurse took my blood pressure, the dr felt my stomach (to measure my uterus) and I was amazed at how high up the top of my uterus is! I mean duh, common sense, but I was surprised. He says its measuring perfect, then we listened to the heart beat on the Doppler (I love hearing it!) it was strong and perfect! He said everything look great. He gave me the glucose drink and gave me instructions for that for my next appointment in 4 weeks. And that was it. Quick, easy appointment. I really feel blessed and lucky at how easy this pregnancy has been. After trying for so long to have this little baby I guess I just assumed that I'd have a difficult, or maybe just not so comfortable, pregnancy. I figured I'd have morning sickness and gain too much weight to quickly, and all other common, but uncomfortable, pregnancy symptoms. So I'm hoping and praying that the second half is just as easy and uncomplicated as the first half.
I am trying to eat healthier because I have been eating pretty bad. In the beginning I did pretty good, but I started eating more and more fast food, like practically every day, and that's bad. Even though I haven't gained weight, I want to eat healthier. I really need to limit fast food and eat more fruits and veggies. I've also been really struggling with dinner. I used to be so good- come up with a plan for the week, get everything at the store, make and freeze and freezer meals I planned on making for the week, and then each night I'd make the planned dinner. But ever since I was sick a few weeks ago I haven't been able to get back into the swing of making dinners. I've been so bad. And this week we're leaving Friday morning for CA and josh has had to work nights the past 2 nights and i work late the next 2 nights so I didn't really even bother this week. As soon we get back from CA I plan on getting back into the swing if making dinners and eating healthier. At least lunches have been better this week. I've been having carrots and celery with ranch dip and strawberries and watermelon. I need to figure out something to add to keep me full longer. Maybe a protein and carb.
I'm so excited to be heading to CA at the end of the week! We're going to wedding on Saturday and then my mom and best friend are throwing me a baby shower on Sunday! I'm super excited about that! And then josh flys home Monday and I'll stay until Thursday. Then I'll drive back with my mom and she'll stay here for the weekend to go shopping for baby Jackson and work on his room! I can't wait!

Maternity clothes? Still the same, not really necessary yet but when I buy cloths I try to buy maternity so I can wear it throughout my whole pregnancy
Sleep: usually pretty good, other then having to get up to pee a lot (like 3-5+ times a night).
Best moment this week: feeling Jackson move!!!
Movement: yes! I am finally feeling him move! It's not very often yet, but tonight after dinner is the most I've felt him so far! He was moving all around! It's so neat!
Food cravings: cheddar and sour cream chips.
Gender: boy
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: I've been missing sushi SO bad!
What I am looking forward to: feeling Jackson move more (stronger), josh being able to feel him. Going home to CA this weekend for a wedding and my baby shower! I can't wait to see my family and friends!
